Fernleigh Academy is 110kms out of Scone, in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales. It takes over 4 hours by car from Sydney but we suggest you pace yourself and don’t rush; enjoy the drive and stop off for lunch in the Hunter Valley vineyards or in Scone. You can use your SatNav or we can send you the driving instructions beforehand. The last 30-40 minutes is over unsealed roads and, depending whether there’s been rain or drought, they can be quite rough. Take your time and do it slowly. This is a holiday after all!

Coming by Train?

Countrylink services run from Sydney Central Station at 10:05 am daily, you’ll need to get off at Murrurrundi, from which point you’ll need a transfer by car, which can be arranged (in advance).
